Nintendo will have a live stream for their E3 announcements despite the lack of a true press conference. The stream will air on June 11 at 7am PT for all interested gamers.

All you’ll need to do is swing by the ‘Nintendo Direct @ E3’ website.

Microsoft Hires Former G4 Faces, Creates E3 Trailer

Microsoft’s Major Nelson (Larry Hryb) sent out a tweet earlier this evening – which is usually nothing to write an article about. The big deal about this particular tweet was that it included a link to a trailer for Microsoft’s E3 coverage that announced the inclusion of several familiar faces.

Microsoft has hired the vast majority of G4TV’s former hosts to support the Xbox One coverage at this year’s E3.

Larry Hryb will be joined by:

Kevin Pereira
Blair Butler
Blair Herter
Morgan Webb
and Jessica Chobot.

The obvious “missing link” is Adam Sessler, who has moved on to Revision3 Games, where I’m sure he will be managing and hosting E3 coverage next week.

For more information on how to watch Microsoft’s coverage of E3, head over to Major Nelson’s blog.

Microsoft’s E3 Game Lineup?

The following image began floating around the interwebs today and claims to be a partial screenshot of Microsoft’s E3 game lineup.

According to user Jignx via this thread on NeoGAF, the games that Microsoft will show at E3 are as follows:

Halo 5
Killer Instinct
BANJO KAZOOIE 4
FORZA 5
QUANTUM BREAK
HALO: SPARTAN ASSAULT
RYSE
FABLE 4
CRACKDOWN 3
FORTNINE
DEAD RISING 3
COD: Ghosts
BF 4
Witcher 3
Dying Light
PREY 2
Homefront 2
BGE 2
Mirror’s edge 2
Rainbow 6 PATRIOTS
Brother in Arms
League of Legends

While some titles’ presence on the list are no-brainers, other titles (Prey 2 mainly, based on this Kotaku article) don’t make any sense at all.

Gamingbolt breaks the image down with additional explanations for the appearance of some titles on the list as well:

Top left: Banjo Kazooie Grunty Land (Rare’s historic IP was previously confirmed via polygon)

Middle Top: Forza Motorsport 5 already announced as a launch title

Middle Left: Halo: Spartan Assault was recently registered via Microsoft domain

Center: Fable IV Lionhead Studios has opened up new Fable forums earlier today confirming the sequel for the next-generation Fable experience

Middle Right: Hard to tell due to letters being cut of but could be Dead Rising 3 or something to do with Zombies.

Bottom Left: Can’t tell because we can only see a piece of the symbol.

Bottom Center: Quantum Break was already announced on May 21st during Xbox One’s reveal.

Bottom Right: Halo 5 and that is a no-brainer since 343 studios was already hard at work for next-generation Halo.

We now have one week to go for official confirmation, and I’ll be blogging it for a few of you out there!

UPDATE:  “Halo: Spartan Assault” was confirmed this morning and will be coming to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 July 2013. (via Major Nelson).

“Fable: Anniversary” was also confirmed.
